BGC Lab's adventures at the Italian Mammal Congress

Updated: Jul 10, 2024

Did you know there's a whole Italian congress dedicated to mammals’ research?

From the 3rd to the 5th of July, some BGC Lab members attended the 13th Italian Congress of Theriology, held at the Department of Biosciences and Territory of the University of Molise in Pesche (Isernia, Italy). Chiara Dragonetti presented a poster on wild mammals densities in crucial corridors for Marsican bears, while Federica Villa showed a protocol for collecting and mapping livestock data in the Central Apennines

This congress brought together nearly 200 mammalogists from across Italy and even abroad, providing the BGC Lab with a valuable opportunity to exchange research ideas and network. It also allowed members of our Lab and the MBC research group to explore beautiful, hidden villages in Molise and enjoy a refreshing break amid the mountains.
