BGC lab members attended the European Congress of Conservation Biology (ECCB) last week, together with 600 other researchers from all over the world!
Chiara Dragonetti presented the work that she is carrying out during her PhD "The velocity of climate change in mountain ecosystems", Marta Cimatti spoke instead of her study "High biodiversity areas preserve Nature's Contributions to People under climate change", while Giordano Mancini presented his work entitled "Assessing species' exposure to climate change to support extinction risk assessments for the IUCN Red List".
It was a time for professional training, but also an opportunity to meet other researchers, making networks and having a lot of fun together.
Looking forward for the next international conference!
