The endangered mammals tour at Rome's Bioparco

Asiatic lions, Grévy's zebras and pygmy hippos. These were some of the protagonists of last Saturday’s educational event organised by SBC Italy (Society for Conservation Biology) as part of the initiative "M’ammalia, the mammals' week".

The event, which took place at Rome’s Bioparco zoological garden, saw the participation of several researchers from BGC lab, who led visitors on a tour to discover some of the endangered mammals housed in the structure as well as the conservation challenges that need to be addressed to prevent their extinction.
