The BGC Lab recently contributed to the "In Praise of Diversity - Journey through Italian Ecosystems" exhibition, focusing on the delicate balance of coexistence with wildlife.
Fieldwork in the Central Apennines offered some lab members insights into the challenges of living alongside wild animals, and explored strategies for mitigating these challenges. Collaboration with Rewilding Apennines and discussions with local farmers led to the creation of the video "Voices from the Mountain". The idea was to give a voice to all the stakeholders involved, from farmers to conservationists, highlighting the human perspective in discussions about nature conservation strategies.

This project brought together Federica Villa, Chiara Dragonetti, and Moreno Di Marco from the BGC research lab, Angela Tavone, Daniela Gentile, and Filippo Castellucci from Rewilding Apennines, and farm business owners Matteo Marcelli and Virginia Sciore.
The exhibition, curated by Isabella Saggio and Fabrizio Rufo, will be open to the public at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome until March 30th.
Don't miss it!
